who i am
I love golden hour & always aspired to be a florist when I grew up. When I am not holding my camera, I am likely spending most of my time cooking, sitting on my back patio sipping champagne, or spending a date night with my hubby getting tattooed.
why boudoir?
For the past 6 years I have been a full time wedding photographer & have loved every second of it. I fell in love with the feeling of a wedding day & love the light, carefree feeling that comes along with creating those images. While I know & love this side of the business so well, deep down I knew there was a dark side waiting to burst out & create. Thus, Black Dahlia boudoir was born. I believe every woman has a dark side & that side should be shown & appreciated just as much as any other side.
I think that photography is a beautiful gift of reminding yourself at a point in time in your life. Some pictures I can look at & remember exactly what was happening & how I felt. Whether it was a great day or not so great, I can look back & see how far I have come since then & how much further I will be going.
I want this experience to be liberating for you & to help you dig deep down, face any fears you have & come out being an even more confident version of yourself. Every girl deserves to feel that way & I want you to remember that feeling every time you glance at your images.
